The van der Knaap lab is looking for qualified and enthusiastic graduate students and post doctoral researchers to join us at the University of Georgia.  The laboratory hosts a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students, visiting scholars, research associates, and post-doctoral researchers who contribute to fine mapping of QTLs, bioinformatic analyses of tomato genomes and transcriptomes. The other part of the lab focuses on the functional analysis of fruit size and shape proteins at the cell biological level.  Prospective researchers with a background in plant genetics, developmental biology, molecular and cell biology, plant breeding, and/or bioinformatics are encouraged to contact Esther van der Knaap to inquire about possible research opportunities.
